has received an exclusive first look at a new trailer for upcoming arena shooter that reveals its release date. The new FPS from developer StickyLock will take players through different eras as they battle it out in teams of eight. Both weapons and locales will draw from various time periods, and a mechanic called the Glitch that changes the arena over the course of a round will ensure no two matches are the same.
The release date trailer showcases the way uses eras of time in its map and weapons, and gives a better idea of what each fight will look like. Unlike most games that utilize time travel, players will have no control over when things shift, instead being at the mercy of the Glitch. There are three time periods in the title that each have their own maps: the prehistoric Pliocene Plateau, World War II-era Novgorod, and the futuristic Montorro City.
As the match goes on, the Glitch will make entire sections of the map warp in and out, forcing players to adapt at a moment's notice. The game will officially enter early access on May 16, and can be wishlisted ahead of release on Steam.
While not all weapons have been revealed yet for, there's been some insight given on the game's Steam page into some of what the title has to offer. Prehistoric weapons include a poison dart gun, hunting bow, and an enemy-slowing slingshot, WWII options feature historically-inspired choices like a Karabiner rifle and BV-40 gun, and the futuristic selection has creative inventions like the Nova III — which fires three simultaneous shots — and the Cyclone SMG, which utilizes electric shocks. Players will be able to mix and match these choices to create a unique arsenal that fits their play style.
