The Xbox Games Showcase has now ended, with more than 30 games shown.
Before it aired, it was billed as arguably one of the most important Xbox Games Showcases in recent years, because the company’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard and its subsequent closure of numerous studios has had many speculating about its current state and stability.
Over the course of two hours, however, Xbox showed that there are plenty of high-profile games coming to Xbox Series X/S, with the vast majority of games shown coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.
First-party highlights included Gears of War: E-Day, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Perfect Dark, Fable, Avowed and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Supporting these were a number of high-profile third-party games including Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, Life is Strange: Double Exposure and Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
