Helldivers 2's latest patch is here, aiming to fix bugs and improve the overall performance of the game. It also fixes an armour set, giving it the intended passive ability after it launched with the wrong one.
This patch installs version 01.000.203, and was made available earlier today. Its main focus is removing several reported game crashes, which could take place in a variety of scenarios. Fingers crossed, these have now been dealt with, and you won't be booted from your games or sent back to the main menu while you prepare for a mission anymore.
The patch also fixes CE-27 Ground Breaker armour. Now, it should have the passive ability Engineer Kit, as was initially advertised, despite it launching with Servo-Assisted instead. The Engineer Kit passive reduces recoil when crouching by 30 percent and lets you hold an additional two grenades at once.
The patch notes include a section on known bugs, so if an issue you've encountered isn't mentioned this time around, it may be addressed in a future update.
This patch doesn't make any balance changes and instead focuses on technical issues. This means that if you're one of many players calling for fire damage to be nerfed, you'll have to wait for another update, as this hasn't been changed at all here. We already know that the devs are planning to overhaul the rewards system too, so future changes to the game are planned, not just bug fixes and stability improvements.
As per the Steam page on the update, the full patch notes are as follows:
