Helldivers 2 developers confirmed the multi-planet liberation system was not yet implemented in the live servers. Since release, players have attempted to maximize their strength by diverting manpower to the objectives that provided the most gains for the Galactic War effort. If successful, the defense of Martale should indirectly secure the connected planet of Charon Prime by cutting off the Automaton's supplies, awarding Helldivers with an automatic win by the gambit's logic.
There's no specific date for when the multi-liberation mechanic is expected to hit live servers, so as things stand, even if players successfully defended Martale, Charon Prime would remain under threat if
