The Suicide Squad's resident troublemaker Harley Quinn could be overdue for a terrifying makeover once DC vs. Vampires returns from its minor break. The first half of the 12-issue limited series ends with a bang upon the reveal of Nightwing secretly having been the King of the Vampires this whole time. He makes his presence known by wiping out the entire Bat-Family, most notably by ripping Batman's heart right out of his chest.
With the remaining members of the Justice League either completely incapacitated or turned into vampires themselves, DC vs. Vampires #6 ends with the vampires taking over the world with Superman and Wonder Woman in their ranks. As it stands now, there are only a handful of DC's heroes are still among the living, with Harley Quinn among the survivors. That issue released in March and the series is currently on pause until the middle of summer, prolonging the inevitable for audiences still dying to see a follow-up to that massive cliffhanger.

Audiences need not wait for much longer asDC vs. Vampires returns for its seventh issue, written by James Tynion IV and Matthew Rosenberg with art from Otto Schmidt, on July 5, 2022. In the meantime, variant cover art previewed by League of Comic Geeks from Francesco Mattina reveals a stark transformation for Harley Quinn that potentially teases a vampiric future for the Cupid of Crime.
There is a chance that the variant cover could be just that, a fun variant cover that isn't meant to have any actual implications on the storyline's future. However, in the spirit of fun, it doesn't hurt to speculate on the potential it could hold if Harley Quinn
