Black Canary Has Created The Deadliest New Threat In The DC Universe

DC Comics has revealed more details about the villain Angel Breaker, as the new threat to its mightiest heroes has significant ties to Black Canary. In Shadow War #1 from DC Comics, it's revealed Black Canary trained Angel Breaker in some form as she continues her hunt for Deathstroke while showing a powerful new weapon that should have both heroes and villains trembling about what she's capable of doing.
The Shadow War event has begun in the pages of DC Comics, as Deathstroke has become enemy #1 after killing R'as Al Ghul. His daughter Talia has assembled a deadly group of villains and assassins called the Demon's Shadow, who are emerging from the darkness to take down Slade Wilson, his family, and anyone who has ever worked to protect him. That has put Black Canary, who worked alongside Deathstroke in Deathstroke Inc., in the line of fire, leading the hero to come across her former protege, Angel Breaker.

In Shadow War Zone #1 by Joshua Williamson, Otto Schmidt, and Steve Wands from DC Comics, Black Canary begins her search for Deathstroke but is met instead by Angel Breaker. The new villain offers the chance for Black Canary to help the Demon's Shadow track down Deathstroke and kill him, but the hero declines, telling her he needs to be brought to justice instead. Black Canary opts to use her sonic scream at Angel Breaker, but the villain reminds her that her sword can absorb attacks as she sends the powerful blast right at the Justice League member.
