Creed 3 has been well underway in its production as the upcoming boxing drama looks to build on the success of its two predecessors. Now, a new poster showcasing Michael B. Jordan's return as Adonis Creed should keep plenty of fans excited.
MGM's Creed films, which are spin-offs/sequels to the Rocky franchise, have been worthy continuations with Jordan in the lead role as Adonis, the son of Carl Weathers' Apollo Creed. Other than reprising his titular role, Jordan will also be making his directorial debut in the upcoming film.
Creed 3 Expands Cast With More Young Talent Joining Michael B. Jordan
Collider's Steven Weintraub shared the first official look at Creed 3 while attending theLicensing Expo in Las Vegas. While nothing too flashy, the poster easily catches one's eye, as a bare-chested Jordan dominates the entire black and white frame, with the movie’s title and release window of November 2022 presented alongside. With a new poster released, fans can expect the first trailer to arrive very soon.
After defeating Viktor Drago in Creed 2, Adonis will have to face a new adversary by the name of Anderson Dame, played by The Harder They Fall and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star Jonathan Majors. Jordan has the tough task of following in the footsteps of acclaimed filmmakers like Ryan Coogler and Steven Caple Jr. Each of their films was met with much praise for their revitalization of the franchise and past characters.
