Warning! Contains a preview for Star Wars #21
One of Han Solo's funniest lines in Star Wars shows that Poe Dameron's mother Shara Bey was much smarter during her own undercover stormtrooper mission. Trapped on an Imperial Star Destroyer and hiding within its inner workings, she's managed to secure some armor as a disguise, a new preview for Marvel's upcoming issue of Star Wars reveals. Additionally, she already seems to be more capable than the galaxy's most infamous smuggler when she's similarly questioned by Imperials.
As seen in A New Hope, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo take the armor of two stormtroopers to blend in and move freely throughout the Death Star as they search for Princess Leia, who has been captured by the Empire. However, after taking out the Imperials on the detention level, Han gets on the comms in an attempt to prevent further troopers from arriving: "Uh, we had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh… everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?" Hilariously, the Imperials on the other end aren't buying it as Solo continues to flounder and he ends up blasting the comms (saying it was a boring conversation anyway).
