It has been reported that the location of Anchorhead will finally be revealed in the upcoming Disey+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan Kenobi is the latest and arguably the most highly anticipated Disney+ series to take place in the Star Wars universe. With Ewan McGregor once again taking on the role of Obi-Wan, the series follows the Jedi Master as he watches over young Luke Skywalker and evades capture by the Empire after the events of Revenge of the Sith. The series will also star Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader and is set to begin streaming on May 25th.

It has recently been revealed on the Star Wars News Net that Obi-Wan Kenobi will depict the Tatooine location Anchorhead. Anchorhead was first mentioned by Luke Skywalker back in A New Hope in 1977, though has not been seen on screen to date (excluding Tosche Station in The Book of Boba Fett which, is technically in the outskirts of Anchorhead). According to the SSNN article, a glimpse of Anchorhead can be caught in the recent teaser trailer for the series, in which Kenobi is on a transport ship with a city in the background. It has since been confirmed that the city is indeed Anchorhead.
It is unclear in what capacity Anchorhead will feature in the new series. It is known that at some point in the story Kenobi will leave Tatooine and it has been speculated that he may gain passage off-world from Anchorhead. However, this cannot be confirmed. Still, many Star Wars fans will be excited to learn that in just over two months, they will finally get to see a classic location that has taken forty-five years to come to the screen.
