Halo Infinite Season 5: Reckoning is here, and of course, that means a new battle pass has arrived alongside it. The team at 343 once again has a lot to prove with this season, after previous ones needed more content in the eyes of the community. But to come out swinging, 343 has reintroduced the Flood, an alien species that takes over the minds and bodies of whoever it infects, which gives the battle pass a nice spooky theme in time for Halloween.
They're not in the main story, but you can rock a series of Flood-infected gear on your multiplayer Spartan. So far, this does appear to have piqued some fan interest once again. If you're loading into Halo Infinite Season 5 for the first time, here's everything you must know about the battle pass.
How much is the Halo Infinite battle pass?
If you're trying to save a few bucks and not buy the premium battle pass, don't worry. There are a handful of items you can unlock for free, but much of it isn't Flood-related. But it's not as much as you could in the past because this season is significantly shorter than others, and the current battle pass only has 50 tiers for you to unlock instead of the usual 100-tier system that many players have become familiar with.
With that being said, unfortunately, you won't be able to unlock the battle pass by grinding it out this season. The premium currency is locked behind the paid portion, and if you want to buy it, you'll have to spend 1,000 credits, which comes out to $8.99.
