This morning's news that Grand Theft Auto VI's first official trailer will be dropping on Tuesday has sparked a huge amount of excitement through a games industry, and now other games are getting in the act as well.
Following that announcement, Halo Infinite revealed that it's getting a new trailer of its own, even going so far as to borrow the purple and orange tinged aesthetic of Rockstar's image.

Yep, it's definitely intentional.
If 343 Industry's poster was a little bit of a desperate bid for attention for a shooter that launched more than two year ago, it worked. Fans picked up on the reference immediately and seemed to appreciate the tongue-in-cheek approach to the trailer news.
"GTA 6 doesn’t even have a logo and it’s already setting trends lmao," one user wrote in a popular tweet. Other fans on X/Twitter simply responded with gifs, and the Reddit thread about the image referred to it as "top notch marketing."
