Supergiant Games‘ criticially acclaimed title Hades is coming to iOS.
The game will be exclusive to Netflix, which offers a selection of mobile games to subscribers through its app.
As such, anyone with an active Netflix subscription will be able to download Hades to their iOS device once it launches.
A release date for the iOS version of Hades has yet to be confirmed, with Netflix only saying the game “will be available exclusively on iOS via Netflix starting next year”.
Hades is one of the highest-rated games on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch, with a Metacritic score of 93 on all platforms.
The roguelike dungeon crawler was originally released for PC and Switch in September 2020 to great praise.
It’s gone on to win numerous awards, including Best Indie Game and Best Action Game at The Game Awards, five awards at the DICE Awards (including Game of the Year), three awards at the Game Developers Choice Awards (including Game of the Year) and five awards at the BAFTAs (including Best Game).

The game’s sequel, Hades 2, was announced last December, with early access for PC players planned for Q2 2024.
Netflix has continued to grow its library of mobile games, which now stands at around 80 titles.
Highlights include Football Manager 2024, Tomb Raider Reloaded, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Samurai Shodown, Oxenfree II and the critically acclaimed Poinpy.
All Netflix mobile games are included with a Netflix subscription, and contain no extra ads or in-app purchases.
