Guilty Gear: Strive has surpassed 2.5 million players worldwide, making it both the first title released by Arc System Works and first Guilty Gear series title to do so, developer Arc System Works announced.
Additionally, the company announced that the number of entrants for the Guilty Gear: Strive tournament at the Evolution Championship Series 2023, which will run from August 4 to 6 in Las Vegas, has reached 2,481, surpassing the previous year.
Arc System Works also released a new illustration by artist Shouichi Kitazono to celebrate the 2.5 million players milestone, and a series of developer messages to commemorate the Guilty Gear series’ 25th anniversary.
Guilty Gear: Strive is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, as well as via Xbox Game Pass.
