New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 set images offer the first look at Pom Klementieff and Dave Bautista's return as Mantis and Drax. Production for the upcoming James Gunn MCU film has been in full swing for a while now. While nothing much is known about the project that's set to roll out in May 2023 thus far, fresh photos reveal fans' first sighting of some of the returning cast.
The story for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has long been locked in, as well as its highly anticipated soundtrack — even before Gunn's brief firing and rehiring. But, plot details have been scant, with Marvel Studios being very careful about what is revealed about the film. Will Poulter has been cast as Adam Warlock, while Chukwudi Iwuji has also been confirmed to join the project in an unknown role. The next Guardians of the Galaxy adventure will also be set after Avengers: Endgame, meaning 2014's Gamora (Zoe Saldana) will be an integral plot line in the film.

Now, fans are offered their first look at Mantis and Drax for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, thanks to set images from Daily Mail UK. Klementieff is all dolled up as her alien character, complete with her signature antennas. Meanwhile, Bautista is painted up, although he's wearing a cape and what appears as a puffer jacket as he walks inside the Atlanta sound stage that they have been working in.
