Grim Batol Corner Strategy for Dragha Shadowburner Boss Fight
wowhead.comPlayers have discovered a new strategy for the Drahga Shadowburner boss fight that simplifies the add mechanic and optimizes the amount of space for players to work with!
Corner Strategy Explained & Why it Works
Once Drahga Shadowburner enters Stage 2 on the Drake, the tank will kite the boss over to a specific corner on the right-side of the arena that has a long dead end to it. When the boss moves into the corner, the Invoked Shadowflame Spirit adds will spawn directly in the corner with the boss instead of directly next to DPS. This makes the Invoked Shadowflame Spirit adds significantly easier to cleave and gives DPS much more space to defeat them before they fixate.
A few notes to keep in mind when doing this strategy:
- The Tank's view will be VERY limited and they will not move for the remainder of the fight.
- The Tank will get hit by every Devouring Flame frontal. They will need to mitigate the damage from the cast.
- Players will still need to dodge any Twilight Wind tornadoes, especially Melee DPS.
