Grasshopper Manufacture has announced that it will be releasing a second Direct presentation this week.
The second Grasshopper Direct will be available on Wednesday, July 31, but the studio has yet to confirm what time the video will be made available.
“We’re currently working our asses off on getting it ready on time this time, and we don’t want to screw this one up, so stay tuned for further updates on the exact time,” it wrote on X.
Thefirst Grasshopper Direct took place in June 2023 and went live more than an hour late due to technical difficulties.
When it did go live, it showed more footage from the then-recently announced Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered, and also teased a new game which has still seemingly yet to be announced.
The first Direct ended with the show’s hosts hearing a noise in the room behind them, going to investigate and finding Grasshopper founder and CEO Suda51 sitting on a couch playing an unknown game.
Suda quickly pauses the game, stands in front of the screen to obscure it and says a few words about Grasshopper’s 25th anniversary.
“Is this okay?” he asks. “Our next game is right here on-screen.”
The brief glimpse doesn’t give much away, and the game didn’t appear to be Hotel Barcelona, which saw its first gameplay reveal three months later.
Shadow of the Damned: Hella Remastered will be released in October, Grasshopper confirmed last week.
The game, which will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC, will cost $24.99 / £19.99 / €24.99. Pre-ordering the game digitally will give players three days early access to the remaster.
