In a few months, it will be Grand Theft Auto V's tenth anniversary. Originally released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the latest main entry in the series has been released on three different console generations, as well as on PC, and continues to be one of the best-looking open-world games ever made.
While it may not sound possible, Grand Theft Auto V can look even better than it does on current generation consoles on PC with some choice mods, as showcased in a new 8K resolution video shared on YouTube by Digital Dreams. With ray tracing, the QuantV, 5Real, and WLS mods, the open-world game by Rockstar Games has never looked better.
Having been released almost ten years ago, the time has definitely come for a new entry in the series. Grand Theft Auto VI has been confirmed to be in development officially last year, but very little is known about it. We did get a peak at the game with some leaked videos, but being taken from an in-development build, they are hardly representative of the game players will be able to experience in the future. A game that is said to be incredibly massive and that may require over 500 hours to fully complete.
Grand Theft Auto V is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 worldwide. The game's online mode is currently being supported on PC as well as on current and previous generation consoles.
