Gran Turismo 7 update 1.32 has been released today, and the headline addition is four new cars to race around in. Alongside the new cars there is a new race event in World Circuits, an additional two menus in the Cafe, and two new Curations in Scapes. There is a bit of something for everyone.
The four cars that have been added to Gran Turismo 7 as part of this update are the Jaguar XJ220 ’92, Mercedes-AMG GT3 ’20, Dallara SF23 Super Formula / Toyota ’23, and the Dallara SF23 Super Formula / Honda ’23. The two Dallara’s have been showcased as they are more sustainable than other vehicles, with the build process for the car seeing a reduction of 75% in CO2 emissions. To mark their addition, the new World Circuits event is Super Formula. The Cafe’s two extra menus are the Collection Alpine, available for those with Collector Level 35 and above, and the Collection Shelby for those with Collector Level 41 and above. The two Curations in Scapes are North Yorkshire in England, and Miyazaki in Japan.
In our Gran Turismo 7 review, Stefan wrote, “Gran Turismo 7 takes everything that was excellent about GT Sport’s fantastic multiplayer, high fidelity cars and circuits and innovative Scapes mode, and builds up a more traditional GT experience around it. It’s got its own quirky new ideas which will likely be passing diversions to most, but at its core, this is the Gran Turismo you know and love. Broad and accessible, but with depth, nuance and competitive racing for those keen to find it.”
