Black Friday is officially here, meaning plenty of deals have begun. One of these deals is for the recently released Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, which is now available for only $39.99 at Amazon and Best Buy. This is a $20 discount for a collection of some of the most iconic stealth-action titles ever. If you're a fan of stealth games, this is a deal you shouldn't pass on.

The Master Collection was announced as a part of Metal Gear's 35th anniversary. The compilation includes the iconic first three Metal Gear Solid titles and the original MSX titles Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Loads of bonus content is bundled in with the Master Collection, including a Master Book and Screenplay Book for each title, Metal Gear graphic novels, and an in-game digital soundtrack. Additionally, Snake's Revenge, the NES sequel to Metal Gear, is a part of this collection.

All versions of the game are on sale for Black Friday. This includes PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. This is the first time that the Metal Gear Solid titles are available on modern platforms. Previously, only the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection was playable on Xbox through backward compatibility. Plenty of fans are expecting Konami to release Vol. 2 of the Master Collection down the line, which would include Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots alongside other titles.

Dozens of other games have received steep discounts in addition to the Master Collection. This includes Final Fantasy XVI, which is one of the biggest RPGs of 2023. Additionally, Assassin's Creed Mirage is 20% off right now.
