A new patch for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 has arrived, bringing fixes to broken PS4 Trophies. However, it looks as though some minor bugs still persist.
Released on November 27, the update fixes issues with Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear & Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake where Trophies in the PS4 version of the game wouldn't unlock properly. Unfortunately, it looks as though the fix isn't retroactive, with the patch notes making it clear that «the requirements for these trophies must be met again in order for them to be unlocked.»
What's more, the update «fixed some minor issues and made additional adjustments,» though the patch notes don't specify exactly what these are.

Despite these ongoing issues, Konami pledged that «we will continue to provide regular updates on future improvements and fixes as further details are finalized.» This means that we'll likely see further fixes in the future.
