Google is apparently working on yet another high-end smartphone, in addition to the upcoming Pixel 7 and its Pro variant, yet again reigniting rumors of an Ultra model or the delayed Pixel Notepad foldable. Over the past few months, sketchy rumors of a Pixel Ultra have emerged online, but so far, nothing has materialized. Instead, the company has actually gone on to reveal its upcoming phones months, and even a year, in advance. Take, for example, the Pixel 6a, which has been officially detailed, but it is yet to hit the shelves.
The company has also given an official glimpse of the Pixel and its Pro version, but those phones are only slated to arrive in the fall season later this year. Similar is the case with the Pixel Watch, Google's first smartwatch that is poised to lock horns with the Apple Watch. In fact, Google has even given a brief look at its upcoming tablet, one that will lead the charge for Google's revived attempt at resuscitating the cause of Android on tablets. Now, it appears that there's another product that Google's not ready to talk about, just yet.

The folks over at 9to5Google have come across the codename of two upcoming devices — Felix and Lynx. One of them is touted to be the Pixel 7a, while the other remains a mystery. The report also talks about a device using a display specification internally labeled as G10, and it likely comes armed with a Tensor chip. The mysterious hardware in question doesn't appear to be an affordable Pixel-A series phone, as the display specs point toward support for 120Hz refresh rate, a luxury that is yet to arrive on Google's mid-range phones.
