As per a report by digit.in, around a month back several apps containing dangerous adware and data stealing malware were uncovered by cybersecurity researchers and some of these apps are still available on the Google Play Store.
For the unaware, malware apps pose a threat to users' private details as they often have spyware capabilities, which means they can steal data from other apps present on your device. The result will be that the phone's battery will get overused and the phone might heat up thus impacting the overall user experience. These apps can also cause unauthorised financial transactions and make you suffer huge monetary losses.
