Gigabyte's next-gen Z890 motherboards for Intel's Arrow Lake-S Desktop CPUs have leaked out and come with an AI twist.
The leak comes from the Persian news outlet, Faceit.ir, which managed to source its data from a local Gigabyte distributor. The leak exposes several upcoming Z890 motherboards based around the LGA 1851 socket and featuring support for next-gen Intel Arrow Lake-S Desktop CPUs that will make a formal debut at Computex 2024 as revealed yesterday.
According to the leak, Gigabyte is working on at least 8 new motherboards under its Z890 AORUS and classic portfolio. These motherboards include the top-tier Z890 AORUS XTREME AI TOP, Z890 MASTER AI TOP, and the Z890 AI TOP motherboards. These motherboards are the only three that are listed with "AI TOP" which is a new AI-enhancement feature. No details are available but it can be on the BIOS side to enhance tuning capabilities of these higher-end series. The XTREME and the MASTER motherboards are also available in non-AI TOP variants along with PRO ICE, ELITE WHITE, ELITE AX, and ELITE X ICE models:
This leak more or less confirms that motherboard manufacturers including Gigabyte will display their latest and greatest products based on the new Z890 chipset at Computex 2024. Intel's next-generation Arrow Lake-S Desktop CPUs will be fully utilizing the new motherboards to unleash maximum performance potential. We can expect a range of features from these new boards such as native support for better I/O such as Thunderbolt 4 along with faster memory speed
