Nintendo Unveils Special Edition Zelda-Themed Switch Lite Console, Out This September
Nintendo’s recent Direct presentation was a surprisingly packed one, and without a doubt, one of its best announcements was The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wild, a brand-new 2D entry in the series that’s out later this year. To go along with the game’s announcement, Nintendo has also unveiled a special edition themed console, as it often likes to do to commemorate certain major first-party releases.
The company will release a Legend of Zelda-themed special edition Nintendo Switch Lite console, which will become available on the day of the game’s release in September. In addition to its Zelda theming – which entails a Triforce design on the front, the Royal Family of Hyrule’s crest on the back of the console, and gold colouring for the entire device – the console will also come bundled with 12 months of an individual Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on September 26.
