The award-winning RPG by Larian Studios has a plethora of spells and abilities that come directly from Dungeons and Dragons’ fifth edition (5e). The way the developer adapted these skills into the turn-based RPG is one of the many reasons it was so acclaimed at launch – the way spells can be used in clever ways offers players immense leeway when making choices in , which could affect the outcome of their campaign.
The game has been available for a while now and most of its contents have already been deciphered, while its secrets have been uncovered. Even so, players are still figuring out several details about the game, such as how the underused shields could actually play a huge part in improving their performance in combat due to the increased AC (Armor Class). Recently, players also uncovered a rare dialogue in that reveals a huge spoiler at the start of the game. Due to its complexity, there is still so much to learn from.
As was demonstrated by a post on Reddit, a player found the skeletons of two people who died reading poetry next to each other. In the comment section, a user points out that their grief can be resolved by casting Animate Dead on both of them, transforming the skeletons into thralls. This came as a surprise to some players, who mentioned they never considered casting the spell on skeletons. Surprisingly or not, by using this spell, the skeletons come to life and fight alongside the player’s party in, even if for a limited time.
