As PlayStation’s presence on PC has continued to grow with an increasing number of ports, many have wondered how long it’ll be before Sony brings full integration of things such as PlayStation Network and in-game Trophies to the platform, something that’s only been compounded with multiple reports over the last couple of years that have suggested the same.
Now, that’s been made official. Sony has revealed that Ghost of Tsushima’s upcoming PC port will be the first game to feature full integration for PSN and Trophies. That will be thanks to a new PlayStation overlay that PC players will be able to access going forward. Accessible through an in-game menu (or by using the Shift+F1 shortcut), the PlayStation overlay will allow you to access your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and your Profile. Check out the images below for a glimpse of what it will look like.
Meanwhile, Ghost of Tsushima itself will launch with full Trophy support on PC, sharing the same set of Trophies as the game’s PS5 Director’s Cut version. If you log in to your PlayStation Network account, all of your PS5 Trophies will carry over to the game’s PC version. Signing in will also allow you to enable full cross-play with PS5 and PS4 players in the co-op mode, Legends.
Beyond that, the game will, of course, also have Achievements on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut launches for PC on May 16. Check out its full system requirements through here.
