Better Call Saul is a prequel to Breaking Bad. It tells the story of how the lawyer Jimmy McGill became the slimy Saul Goodman who would eventually help Walter White and Jesse Pinkman build a methamphetamine empire.
In Better Call Saul, we see Jimmy's life descend into chaos and bloodshed as he meets figures like Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn), Nacho (Michael Mando), Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), and Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian). Jimmy's brother, Chuck (Michael McKean) also plays a vital role in the early seasons of Better Call Saul.
Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan is moving on from the Breaking Bad universe and is now making a TV series for Apple TV that will star Seehorn.
