Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games fest kicks on on June 7th and ahead of the show he took to Twitch for a Q & A session, during which he tempered expectations for the show. “There will be, definitely, new announcements,” he said, “but the show is largely focused on, I think, existing games that have new updates for fans.”
“There definitely are things that are being announced but this is not a show that has a lot of like ‘coming in 2026’ or ‘2027’, or teasers for games that are years and years out… That’s generally what I would say in terms of expectation setting.”
So lets start with some of what will be shown. Metaphor: Refantazio and Monster Hunter Wilds are confirmed, along with indie games made “single devs”. Also in the show will be Kingdom Come 2: Deliverance and a trailer for some “cool DLC.”. Batman: Arkham VR from Camoflaj is also confirmed along with Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO and a trailer for the Among Us animated show.
He confirmed the following titles will not be present: Beyond Good and Evil 2 , Five Nights At Freddy’s, Grand Theft Auto 6, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Kingdom Hearts 4, Wolf Among Us 2, Judas, or Metal Gear Solid Delta. There will also be no Muppets (boo!) and no music acts (yay!).
The show will begin at 10pm BST on June 7th and run for two hours, it will be followed by the day of Devs indie show for an hour, then the always wacky Devolver show at 1am,
