Genshin Impact first introduced the Serenitea Pot in Version 1.5. The Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact is a Housing system that allows players to customize a personal realm within a teapot gadget. There are currently four realms available to unlock, which are: Floating Abode, Emerald Peak, Cool Isle, and the newly released Silken Courtyard.
In order to unlock the Serenitea Pot, players must first be Adventure Rank 28 and complete the Archon Quest, «Chapter I Act III: A New Star Approaches». The World Quest, “A Teapot To Call Home” will then be available. After completing this quest, players will receive the Serenitea Pot from the NPC Madame Ping. This item can be found in the Gadget tab of the Inventory.

With the Serenitea Pot, players are given the option to customize the realm to their own preferences. Players can build and place Furnishings, invite realm companions in Genshin Impact for unique dialogue and gifts, and build Trust Rank with Tubby, the Teapot Spirit, in order to earn a variety of rewards and materials. However, these customization features have some limitations that can be a hindrance to players’ imaginations.
Genshin Impact players have created wonderful realms to showcase, such as the beautiful, cliffside palace using the Serenitea Pot’s clipping glitch. Players must rely on using the Serenitea Pot glitch in order to fully customize the realm in the way that they would like to. Without using the glitch, players only have a select number of Furnishings to place down before they are stopped by the load limit. Seeing as this workaround is a glitch and not an official game mechanic, there is the possibility that the developers may patch it in the future.
