The upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi show will see the return of Darth Vader, but Hayden Christensen won't reveal whether fans will see the character without his helmet. Coming hot on the heels of live-action Star Wars shows like The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi will focus on the fan-favorite Jedi Master played by Ewan McGregor. The series picks up after the tumultuous events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and sees Kenobi living on Tatooine, watching over a young Luke Skywalker.
Of course, in addition to McGregor, Obi-Wan Kenobi also sees the return of Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, a.k.a. Darth Vader, as hinted at in the final moments of the show's trailer. Revenge of the Sith ends with Anakin, after sustaining horrible burns and being defeated by Obi-Wan, essentially being reborn as Darth Vader. The character would then go on to serve as a major antagonist in the fourth and fifth Star Wars films before ultimately sacrificing himself to defeat the Emperor in Return of the Jedi. Although he features prominently in a handful of movies, fans only ever got to see Vader's face once, moments before his death.
