The date and time of the 4.6 livestream are approaching, as Version 4.5 moves toward the later portion of the update. While Version 4.5 was a fairly underwhelming patch, having only introduced Chiori in and did not bring forth any main story quests or character missions, the leaks regarding Version 4.6 are hinting at what may be a huge expansion to the game, not only with the release of a highly anticipated playable character but also the introduction of a new zone, two new boss fights, and even some story quests for further depth.

So far, the only official piece of information about the upcoming patch is that Arlecchino will finally be released as a playable character. The Fatui Harbinger, also known as the Knave, has long been awaited, even before the release of Fontaine and her own introduction as an NPC, and nearly a year later, she is finally being added. HoYoverse has confirmed Arlecchino in 4.6 and revealed that she is a Pyro character, though her rating, weapon of choice, and abilities are only known through leaks. They should, however, be confirmed with the Version 4.6 livestream.

The date and time of the Version 4.6 livestream can be roughly estimated based on the developer’s regular six-week schedule between updates and how much time these special events air before the arrival of the patch itself. Based on Version 4.5’s release, it is safe to bet that Version 4.6’s will arrive on April 24 and, because respective livestreams tend to happen on a Friday, two weeks prior to the patch, the 4.6 livestream should occur on April 12. Livestreams tend to occur in the morning. The date and time have yet to be confirmed by HoYoverse.
