No show Just finished watching the Nintendo Direct and although it was overall pretty good I have one big question that I’m sure is on everyone’s lips: has Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 been delayed? I know they said the Direct would concentrate on games out in the first half of this year, but Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was September and the fact that they didn’t even mention Zelda – even though they must’ve known that was what everyone was hoping to see – it doesn’t sound like good news to me.
My guess is either it’s going to be very late in the year, like December, or it’s been delayed till next year. I don’t actually mind that, the last thing you want is for the game to be rushed, but I wish they’d tell us or give us something else to latch onto, like it’s proper name or something.
There is still hope, because I’m pretty sure Nintendo know Xenoblade Chronicles 3 isn’t going to cut it as the big Christmas release, but I’m getting very nervous now that there’s going to be no new Zelda in 2022.Onibee
The long haul So Mario Kart 8 is going to be getting DLC until the end of 2023? That rules out Mario Kart 9 anytime soon to me but I think it probably means no Switch 2 anytime soon either. I know that’s what most people were beginning to assume at this point but everything at the moment points towards the Switch staying around for several more years.
There could be a Switch Pro this year or next but those rumours seem to have dried up and it just doesn’t feel like that’s what Nintendo is building up to. Not with so many announced
