Ahead of Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series, an appropriate TikTok of a Star Wars birthday cake recreates Anakin and Obi-Wan’s epic duel on Mustafar. The first time audiences ever saw a lightsaber fight was in 1977 when they went to the theater to see Star Wars (re-branded A New Hope)—which sees Obi-Wan (Alec Guinness) and Darth Vader cross blades aboard the Death Star. The geriatric Jedi Master’s subsequent sacrifice allows him to become one with the Force, thus paving the way for Luke Skywalker’s hero's journey and his father’s return from the dark side.
In addition to exploring Vader’s origin, the prequel trilogy revolves around the relationship between Anakin (Hayden Christensen) and his mentor, Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor). Following the death of Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson), Obi-Wan insists on taking Anakin on as his Padawan to fulfill the promise he made to his own master regarding the “Chosen One.” The duo’s friendship ends in Star Wars: Revenge ofthe Sith following their climactic confrontation on the lava planet Mustafar. That duel ends with Obi-Wan cutting Anakin in two before lamenting on the hope and love the master had for his fallen pupil before leaving him to burn. Obi-Wan and Vader’s fight on Mustafar is as iconic as their rematch on the Death Star.

TikTok user Jaimie Young recently shared a video showing off a Star Wars birthday cake she got for her husband. Set to the Imperial March Theme, the clips shows off the Lego-equipped cake that recreates Anakin and Obi-Wan’s fight on Mustafar in Episode III. The figures even circle around one another as if actually dueling.
