Obi-Wan Kenobi Fan Posters Unmask Hayden Christensen’s Darth Vader
A new pair of fan posters for Obi-Wan Kenobi imagines what Hayden Christensen’s Darth Vader could look like without his mask. For the most part, George Lucas’ prequel trilogy focused on Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker and Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi. Following their tragic duel on Mustafar, Obi-Wan went into exile on Tatooine while his former pupil embraced the mantel of Darth Vader alongside the Emperor. Given the beloved status of McGregor’s Jedi Master, it came as no surprise when Lucasfilm announced Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+. Better yet, the upcoming mini-series will also feature the return of Darth Vader and Christensen.
At last year’s Disney+ Day, fans got their first look at concept art for the series. The images included Darth Vader looking at a hologram, Obi-Wan riding an eopie, an Inquisitor with stormtroopers, and a tease of Obi-Wan and his former apprentice dueling on what appears to be Mustafar—where they fought in Revenge of the Sith and Vader’s home after his former master left him for dead. Earlier this month, the first official poster for Obi-Wan Kenobi was released, showing its hero walking through the sands of Tatooine holding Anakin’s lightsaber. All of that said, it’s unclear whether Christensen will appear in the series via flashbacks taking place during the Clone Wars or if his face will appear beneath Vader’s helmet.

Artist tilian_creative on Instagram recently shared a pair of fan posters for Obi-Wan Kenobi. The pieces offer up a look at Christensen’s Vader without his mask. Both posters also feature Mustafar, with Vader looming over the planet ominously in one. Check them out below:
