Announced during the Nintendo Direct last week, the Japanese gaming company announced a Nintendo Switch sequel to the Wii Sports series. Titled Nintendo Switch Sports, players will be able to take part in six different types of sports, with many of them being taken right out of the original Wii Sports game. There's Soccer, Volleyball, Bowling, Tennis, Badminton, and Chambara (swordplay) --golf will come to the game post-launch as a free download.
Starting today, Nintendo fans interested in checking out Nintendo Switch Sports before its launch in April can sign up now for an online play test for the game. The online beta will be used by Nintendo to evaluate various technical aspects and help improve the quality of Nintendo Switch Sports. During the play times, which are listed below, users can play three of the six sports in online random matches; the sports are Tennis, Bowling, and Chambara.

Nintendo Switch owners can sign up for the play test by going to the official website for Nintendo Switch Sports. Click the link here to go to it. Users need to log into their Nintendo Account, scroll to the bottom of the site, and click on the Register Now button. Gamers will be taken to a different page to «redeem» Platinum Points for the Play Test download code. It costs 0 points to download, so don't worry about losing any.
Upon redeeming the download, players will receive a 16-digit Reward Code. Now, Nintendo fans need to go to their Nintendo Switch and head to the Nintendo eShop, accessed via the orange shopping bag icon on the home menu.
