The Pokemon battling system contains 18 different elemental types, all of that come with their strengths and weaknesses. Some are more powerful than others, and some Pokemon types can even nullify attacks from certain types, such as Normal versus Ghost types, and vice-versa.
The battle chart can be quite exhausting at times to memorize all the different levels of effectiveness, and it only became more complicated with the additions of Fairy and Dark types in later generations. One of the Pokemon types that suffer most from super-effective attacks is the Grass-type, which is coincidentally one of the starting Pokemon types of each generation.

Unfortunately, Grass-type Pokemon suffer from five weaknesses — Bug, Fire, Flying, Ice, and Poison — tying them for the most weaknesses along with Rock-type Pokemon.
