The Teen Titans Go! and DC Super Hero Girls are reuniting for their new crossover movie, Mayhem in the Multiverse. The film will see the young heroes transported back to the Teen Titans universe in their fight against Lex Luthor and the malevolent Kryptonian spirit Cythonnia.
Co-director Matt Peters, who has previously worked on DC Showcase: Constantine — The House of Mystery and Injustice among many others, had the unique opportunity to blend together two remarkably different groups of heroes into one seamless adventure that's fun for fans of everyone.

In time for the film's release, Screen Rant spoke exclusively with Peters to discuss Teen Titans Go! & DC Super Hero Girls: Mayhem in the Multiverse, balancing the tones of the two shows, which team he liked directing best and potential future DC plans.
Screen Rant: I know we briefly mentioned this last time we talked for the DC Showcase, but Teen Titans Go! & DC Super Hero Girls: Mayhem in the Multiverse is quite the fun ride. What was the timeline like for when this was made in comparison to the Showcase?
Matt Peters: I know that this one was made while we were on lockdown. Actually, I had not met Katie Rice yet and they had asked me if I was interested in co-directing with her and I said sure. I ended up meeting Katie through a Zoom call and, to this date, I still have not met her face-to-face. I think this movie was entirely made on lockdown, I knew James and had worked with him before and a few other people on the crew. But mostly it was a whole bunch of people just coming through Zoom calls on my computer screen.
