Kim Kardashian & Kris Jenner's Rick Caruso Endorsement Upsets Fans
Kim Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner have endorsed Los Angeles mayoral candidate Rick Caruso and The Kardashians fans are not happy. On May 27, Caruso shared a video of Kim encouraging LA residents to vote for the candidate stating she believes he can help lower crime rates and reduce homelessness in the city. The reality star met with the mayoral candidate and believes that he will make her hometown a better place. The SKIMS founder is typically quiet about politics but has been active with prison reform and intends to help even more people now that she's passed her baby bar exam, which was featured on The Kardashians.
Kris Jenner also endorsed Caruso, sharing a photo with him on Instagram and saying he's the best choice for mayor. The billionaire businessman is running as a Democrat but has previously been registered as a Republican. He is the founder and CEO of the American real-estate company Caruso and has been the president of the Los Angeles Police Commission. Caruso has also faced a lot of criticism. As the chair of the board of trustees of the University of Southern California, many believe he had a role in the 2019 college admissions scandal. He's also said to have covered up sexual assault allegations at the university.
