Free a Divine Guardian and Help Restore Peace in Sky: Children of the Light's Season of the Nine-Colored Deer
Social adventure MMO Sky: Children of the Light has a new seasonal chapter on the way, “Season of the Nine-Colored Deer”. This new season adapts an ancient story to craft a new adventure for players to work together, meet new Spirits, and restore peace.
The new season begins on January 15th and you'll be able to enter an all new land in Sky that has been changed by a traitor. You and your fellow adventurers will get a chance to help free the legendary deer and restore the Painted World from dark chaos back to its peaceful, and lively color.
Four new Spirits will share their wisdom and memories that will also shape the newest journey. There is also a fifth Spirit, the Season Guide, who will help you with new quests that will not only introduce the history and nature of the new land, but introduce the legend of the Nine-Colored Deer and how things went from peaceful to in need of urgent help. Quests in the Friendship Tree from this fifth Spirit will teach you exactly what happened to cause all of the damage so far and also how to begin to fix it.
The new Spirits bring with them some new emotes, including one the team says “really carries good opportunities for fun interactions” and another that’s expressive. The Spirits also introduce new hairstyles, masks, cloaks, shawls, and other cosmetics you can acquire. Those who have a Season Pass can also unlock several gifts that represent the season.
Developer thatgamecompany is also offering a few themed item packs you can purchase. The first includes a special set of iridescent antlers with a matching mask. The second is a cape that will also feature both an iridescent, colorful glow and get a “special ability” added in the 0.24.5 update. Some of the collaboration items
