Action star, Frank Grillo, has now joined film acting legend Harvey Keitel in a new action-thriller titled Hard Matter for Wonderfilm Media. The film is being directed by Justin Price, who is performing double duties on the project as the main writer as well. Notably, the film's production designer is David L. Snyder, who has served as a production designer on cinematic classics such Blade Runner and cult fan-favorite action film, Demolition Man. Producing the film is Jeff Bowler and Bret Saxon, along with Latavius Powell and Justin Price of Powell and Price Productions, with Richard Salvatore serving as executive producer.
Now,Deadline reports Grillo has joined the cast of Hard Matter. The film is reportedly set in a new America divided by various quadrants, in which a power-hungry corporation has taken over the conventional prison system and replaced it with a system of deadly watches. Now, criminals are the new law enforcement and carry out all forms of capital punishment in order to regain their place in society. "Having just recently wrapped our film Lamborghini, with Frank as the lead, we are so amazed by what he brings to the screen," said Jeff Bowley and Bret Saxon of Wonderfilm, adding that "we couldn’t be any more excited to have him in Hard Matter."

Grillo is perhaps most known for his multiple appearances as the villainous Crossbones character in Marvel Studio's Captain America franchise and is soon filming the horror werewolf film, Year 2, with Steven C Miller.
