Gotham star Shane West says he would love to play another Batman villain in Harvey Dent/Two-Face. Gotham follows Detective James Gordon as he rises within the ranks of the GCPD, while Bruce Wayne is still a young teen. West played Bane in Gotham season 5, bringing a unique interpretation of the iconic character, something at which the series excelled in doing. While Gotham gave Bane new elements to his backstory and a distinct look, West was still able to capture the menacing nature of the infamous Batman villain, even if he didn't quite have Bane's imposing stature.
Batman is currently at the forefront of audiences' minds, with The Batman dominating the box office, with more to come from its universe already in the works. While a sequel to The Batman is likely on the way, other iterations of the character, namely Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck's interpretations, are already slated to appear in Batgirl andThe Flash, respectively. In addition, The Batman is getting a Penguin spinoff series, with two others (a GCPD-centered series and an Arkham-centered series) currently on hold. However, with all the forthcoming Batman content, there is plenty of room for more villains to enter the mix.
