Turn 10 has just release Forza Motorsport Update 11, adding a new track in the form of Road Atlanta, and integrating multi-class racing into the game. A fresh wave of in-game events and new spotlight cars will be available overnight on Thursday.
Road Atlanta is an icon of North American motorsports, with distinctive elevation changes and plenty of winding, twisting corners that are a real challenge to master. Both the 2.54 mile Full Circuit and the 1.77 mile Club Circuit are featured in Update 11. The next track is set to arrive with Update 13 in October.
The next month of race events will feature both a road car and race car highlighted each week in the Road to Race event, showcasing how road cars are transformed into track monsters. These will include:
The Reward Showcase at the end of this all will be the 2018 Aston Martin #97 AMR Vantage GTE.
Multi-class racing will make its first appearance in Forza Motorsport multiplayer with both Open Events and the return of Endurance Series races. In both cases, this will put a fresh spin on the action in this game, as you might fight for best in class as opposed to the overall win.
For the first week of racing that starts on Thursday, Endurance Series will feature a mix of Forza GT2 + Forza P2 + Forza Proto-H, which will give out three winners, while Open Series will allow for eligible cars in A, B, C and S – there will also be other homogenised races available.
As always there’s another swathe of bug fixes and changes, which you can see with the full release notes on the Forza support site. However, for Turn 10 also shared some headline changes and improvements:
