For the new season in Fortnite Chapter 3, players can find collectibles called Omni Chips scattered about the island, but only if they unlock the new customizable Ommi Sword pickaxe from the first page of the current Battle Pass. Fortnite players that haven't purchased the Battle Pass will not be able to take on the Omni Sword quests or even see the chips on the map.
By completing the Omni Chip quests added to Fortnite each week, players will be able to use the chips to unlock new styles for the Omni Sword, allowing them to change blades, guards, colors, and sounds. So, for players looking for the Omni Chips this week at Mighty Monument, this guide will show players their exact locations to grab them fast and easily.
Fortnite: What Are the Blue and Red Lines for on the Season 2 Map?
The three circled locations on the image below will show players where the three Omni Chips are located at Mighty Monument. For those that have yet to discover the location of Mighty Monument, they can find it on the east side of the current map, southeast of the Daily Bugle, and north of The Joneses. It's not hard to miss since there's a giant statue on the main island that players will see.
If Fortnite players have the Battle Pass, they can tab over to the Battle Pass section in the main menu by hitting the right bumper on the controller. The Omni Sword will be on the first page of the pass, and pressing on the sword will bring players to the customization screen. From here, players can use their collected Omni Chips to unlock all sorts of things.
Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
