Update: GameStop will have PS5 bundles in stock tomorrow, April 2. All US store locations will have the bundles, which is a change from the «select stores» setup we've seen with previous restocks at GameStop. You still have to be a PowerUp Rewards Pro member to purchase one of the bundles, though. GameStop will have PS5 and PS5 Digital bundles, but the retailer hasn't revealed the contents of the bundles ahead of time. PS5 bundles at GameStop typically come with a combination of gift cards, PSN credit, PS Plus, extra controllers, or games. We'd recommend arriving at your local store before it opens, as bundles are likely to sell out quickly.
Outside of the GameStop restock, this week has brought multiple PS5 restocks, including a restock for Best Buy Totaltech members as well as a very brief opportunity to purchase the PS5 Digital at Amazon. Last week, we saw the first public queue at PS Direct, and the console remained in stock for about an hour. And in recent weeks, Walmart has had multiple restocks for Walmart+ members. Hopefully PS5 stock starts to stabilize pretty soon. Considering that the Xbox Series X is now readily available at multiple retailers, perhaps that means the PS5 isn't far behind in terms of solving distribution issues.
