Fortnite Chapter 4 season 1 is winding down, after a dramatic few months that has seen a Kid Laroi concert, the addition of motorbikes and the long-awaited Geralt and Doom Slayer skins.
However, there's still one more surprise in store — Epic Games has confirmed that season 2 will start EARLY after bringing forward the end date of season 1 by two days.
It's an unprecedented move in an era of constant video game delays — and there's not long left to wait.

Fortnite chapter 4 season 1 ends on Wednesday 8th March 2023.
The season was originally scheduled to end a few days later on 10th March, but Epic Games has taken the unexpected step of starting a new season early.
Players will now get Supercharged XP to help complete the season 1 battle pass.

Going by previous seasons, Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 will likely start the next morning on Thursday 9th March 2023.
There is usually a period of downtime for a few hours between seasons when servers go offline overnight, with the new season ready to play the next morning after an update.
This all depends of course on the exact time that season 1 ends and server downtime begins, but we'd expect Epic Games to stick to the usual
