There might be some sort of foodie crossover between Xbox and former McDonald's corporate chef Mike Haracz in the future. Though what that entails is apparently still under wraps.
On Twitter, Haracz showcased that Microsoft sent him an Xbox Series S that's part of «a super secret project.» While it may be totally unrelated, it's intriguing to note that an Xbox Series S toaster just recently leaked.
Did my pals at @Xbox just send me a Series S for a super secret project not related to that OTHER super secret project I have in the works?!? Yes…yes the did! pic.twitter.com/FE0VDXlfZU
Microsoft has made its foray into the kitchen other ways with Xbox as well. The company released an Xbox Series X minifridge in 2021 for $100. Though unfortunately, the Xbox fridge is loud and annoying.
Team Xbox has plenty of other history with food as well. One of the most memorable has to be from the mid-2000s when Burger King offered $4 Xbox 360 games with the purchase of a meal. Yes, those titles--like Sneak King--had achievements too.
As for other announcements, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer recently stated Xbox is focused on its June showcase. There might be other unveilings before then, but the big stuff will wait a few more months.
One thing people expect to arrive sooner, however, is a Starfield showcase that could be announced anytime now. The RPG from Bethesda Game Studios still doesn't have a release date after being delayed last year.
