The iconic 1992 side-scroller Flashback will finally get its long-awaited sequel later this month – and no, we’re not referring to the PS1’s disastrous Fade to Black. Flashback 2 is being developed by series creator Paul Cuisset, and once again stars series protagonist Conrad B. Hart. Described as a “gripping, fluid, and intricate platform shooter”, it promises a hearty mix of “exploration, puzzle solving, and adventure”.
There’s not much we haven’t seen before in this extended Gamescom trailer, but of course we get a longer look at the title’s 2.5D gameplay perspective, and the various different biomes that will be available in the final release. We’re still not sure about the controls – it all looks a bit cumbersome to us – but of course the proof will be in the pudding, and we’ll certainly get to learn more during the Cologne convention this week.

I don't like the camera in this one, it's like 2.5D games from psone back then. I prefer true 2D games but with beautiful graphics, like trine series for example.
I wish they kept the original style I loved the original! Not so keen on this one so far.
Looks fantastic I love the 2,5D style.
