When comparing comic book speedsters, many fans have always assumed that DC’s Flash should have Marvel’s Quicksilver easily beat. But this contest has been studied in a previous crossover between the two publishing giants, and perhaps the outcome is not so simple.
For context: the specific Flash being discussed here is Wally West, who is by far the fastest Fastest Man Alive. It’s been shown that Wally can lap himself in a race by shifting out of the timestream and running ahead of his own past body. The questionable physics only highlight how awesome Flash's power really is at maximum output. Quicksilver is comparatively slower in just about every metric. His feats fall firmly within the hypersonic spectrum, which is nothing to sneeze at, but almost laughably inconsequential when Flash is faster than light on a bad day. However, reviewing how Pietro has faced off against the Scarlet Speedster before yields surprising results on second consideration.
