As a live game, Destiny 2 is prone to problems and exploits cropping up as new content is added. On the flip side, it receives plenty of updates and hotfixes to handle those issues when they appear. Hotfix 4.1.0.4 does just that, taking care of some problems that have been affecting the game’s raids, armor, and more.
Guardians playing the Duality raid had discovered that Skyburner’s Oath with the Explosive Payload perk could actually damage the Vault of Glass boss through its shields, but that exploit is no longer possible. Likewise, the ability to hide outside of Iron Banner’s Disjunction map has also been removed. No cheating here.
In terms of changes that help players, hotfix 4.1.0.4 ensures that certain pieces of armor are now getting their airborne bonuses — Season 17 made it possible to create midair and anti-flinch builds.
