DCeased has been a fan-favorite alternate Earth comic series. Initially releasing in 2019, the six-issue series received a sequel series - DCeased: Dead Planet. Now, another sequel — said to be the final chapter — is coming. DCeased: War of the Undead Gods is slated to begin releasingon August 9 and there will be plenty of treats for fans to enjoy. DC's iconic heroes will be taking on Darkseid and this villain is bringing an all-star filled undead army.

On Twitter, DCeased series writer, Tom Taylor shared Francesco Mattina's variant cover. The creative team for DCeased: War of the Undead Gods also includes Trevor Hairsine, Andy Lanning, and Rain Beredo. The newly shared cover art centers on Lobo's menacing face, which has become even more twisted than normal thanks to his latest dark transformation. This mercenary has a tendency to veer to the dark side, but now he is embracing it more than ever.
